Charles Okochu is the Senior Business Development Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he leads the Go-to-Market strategy and business development for the Amazon Managed Blockchain and Amazon Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) services world-wide.
He is a seasoned IT Executive based out of New York City with over 15 years of experience in IT architecture, business transformation, strategy, information security fintech, blockchain and digital Assets. Prior to AWS, he was the senior VP of Research and Trading technology at Virtual Capital, a crypto hedge fund based in CT and ran their IT/data engineering and quantitative investment research platform for crypto currencies and digital assets. In addition, he has worked for over 10 years in technology leadership roles at electronic trading fintech platforms for fixed-income and equities like Instinet and Marketaxess where he was the Head of Network Engineering and Operations.
Charles is passionate about how blockchain technologies can transform the technology landscape and brings an executive level experience that focuses on business development and driving customer adoption for the blockchain/web3 ecosystem.
