Richard was the driving force in scoping, building and launching Island Pay, the first licensed Payment Service Provider and Electronic Money Institution in LAC. Island Pay continues to be the market leader in the region with more wallet holders and monthly transaction volumes than its nearest competitors.

Island Pay worked closely with the Central Bank of The Bahamas to integrate the world’s first government backed CBDC into it’s mobile wallet, prepaid Mastercard, and merchant solutions. As the company expands into new markets such as Barbados, Richard and his team strive to provide modern financial services to its wallet holders, merchants and governments alike.
